CD3 Convention Official Call

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Third Congressional District Republican Party of Minnesota, the Third Congressional District Executive Committee hereby officially calls the 2026 annual convention to meet.

The Third Congressional District Convention shall be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2026 conventions of Senate Districts with precincts lying within the boundaries of the Third Congressional District. Delegates and alternates from those precincts are hereby called to meet at:

Registration is open from 8:45 to 10:00 AM
Convention Convenes at 10:00 AM

The Convention shall be held for the purpose of:
1. Endorsement of a candidate for the United States House of Representatives
2. Consideration of adoption of Resolutions (Platform Amendments) passed at the 2026 BPOU Conventions
3. Conducting a Straw Poll of the Minnesota Republican Candidates for U. S. Senate and for Governor
4. Transaction of any other business as may properly come before the convention

Registration … online pre-registration will be open until April 23rd at Noon. To register, please click Online Registration.

Online Pre-registration fee for Delegate & Alternate = $40. Registration at the door will be $50 for Delegate & Alternate. Guests will be $20 pre-registered or at the door. Guests need a Delegate or Alternate to Sponsor them.

Anyone seeking to run for U.S. Congress must submit their name to Michael Palm, Nominating Committee Chair, (mpalm@palmcommercialbrokerage.com) no later than 5:00PM on Wednesday April 15, 2026. Names cannot be summitted at the Convention. The Nominating Committee will schedule mandatory interviews with candidates.
