The Minnesota Parents Alliance believes that Minnesota's K-12 education system is at a crossroads. Test scores and proficiency rates in basic skills like math and reading are plummeting. Activism at the expense of academics and student safety is destroying our previously high-quality public schools. But this doesn't need to be our future. The Minnesota Parents Alliance exists to ensure that every parent who wants to be part of the solution by getting involved in their child's education and their local school community has every resource they need to do so successfully and that their engagement is an inspiration to others.
The 3rd Congressional District Republicans believe in the mission of the Minnesota Parents Alliance. 1. Voting Strategy. There are school districts that have multiple Board Seats up for election. School Board ballots typically ask that you vote for the number of candidates equal to the number of School Board seats up for election. In fact, you may vote for a lesser number of candidates. In other words, you have the option to vote for multiple candidates or to vote for just one.
Voters in the 3rd Congressional District who support the MN Parents Alliance should consider voting for only the candidates above listed for your school district. By doing so, you will avoid inadvertently helping another candidate gain more votes than your chosen candidate. By focusing your vote ONLY on these candidates, you will help reinforce the efforts of the MN Parents Alliance to return the power of parents to affect public education.
2. Election Day is Tuesday November 7, 2023!
3. Early In-Person voting is an option. Find your location for early voting at Minnesota Secretary Of State - Voting locations before election day.
4. Election-day voting locations are based on your address. Visit Voter Information Portal (mn.gov) for your polling place on election day.
