The Caucus is the first step of our party candidate selection process. It puts the people in the center of the process. You are an important part of the candidate selection and it is the first place for your voice to be heard.
When you attend the Caucus, there is typically a general session and then you break into your neighborhood precinct and can run to become a delegate for your neighborhood. Once a delegate, you will go to your local party convention where you may be elected to go to the State Party Convention. At the State Party convention, you will "endorse" candidates to represent you in the 2022 election. It is an amazing process and you truly have a loud voice in who represents you in St Paul.
