For Senate District 50 Executive Committee Positions, as well as Delegates & Alternates for the State Central Committee

Introduction

The Senate District 50 Republican Convention will be held on March 1, 2025. All current Executive Committee members who desire to remain on the Executive Committee, as well as all new candidates for the Executive Committee, are required to complete this questionnaire. This questionnaire is designed to assess a candidate’s experience, commitment, and alignment with the Republican Party’s values. It includes leadership screening questions to ensure our candidates meet high ethical standards. Responses will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee, comprised of precinct chairs from Bloomington and Edina.

For those presently serving on the Executive Committee or those applying to State Central Committee, nothing further will be required unless specifically requested by the Nominations Committee. For those applying to the Executive Committee not presently serving on that committee, a meeting with the Nominations Committee will be scheduled prior to the convention.     

Your responses will help the Nominations Committee evaluate your candidacy. All responses will be kept confidential. Upon request, the Nominations Committee will provide candidate responses to the Executive Committee. 

All candidates must submit this questionnaire to the Nominations Committee Chair, Bryan Huntington, by February 21, 2025, as part of the formal application process. Please submit your completed questionnaire via email to: bhuntington001@gmail.com.
